Summit Granny Flat in Wattle Grove: Case Study

Owen recently added a 100sqm Summit Granny Flat to his semi-rural property in Wattle Grove, allowing he and his family to live on the property with the intention of adding more dwellings in the future.

Having initially approached Summit for a single-storey home design, Owen discovered a 100sqm granny flat was the perfect option for the first build on the property. Being larger than a standard granny flat, which is 70sqm, the 100sqm option was suited to Owen’s block, and met the needs of his family. In the future they will be able to build a larger primary residence on the block if they wish, or add a second ancillary sized dwelling.

Owen found the building process surprisingly easy, he shared, “From concept to handing the keys over, it was made so easy. Drew (my sales consultant) has the wealth of knowledge to really bring what you want to life. I always say to friends and family if you are looking to build don’t go past Summit.”

Owen described the process of working with Summit Granny Flats as being comfortable, professional and quality.

“The Granny flat is of a high-quality build throughout and it is a very enjoyable space.”

With a focus on making the most out of the existing property and setting the family up to generate additional income, the completed project has transformed Owen’s Wattle Grove property into welcoming home with plenty of room to grow. Summit Granny Flats is proud to have played a role in realising this vision.
