Infill development doesn't have to be complicated. All it takes is speaking to builder experienced in building on narrow lot and survey strata infill sites. This was the case with this client who approached Summit Developments to design and construct their home, on this subdivided site in Kardinya.

With an overall site width of less than 10m, there can be pitfalls in the formulation of the design, approvals and construction of a house with restricted frontage. Hence why the owner engaged with Summit Developments to look after the project from start to finish. 

This narrow lot design consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study nook and a separate theatre, with the restricted width of the site dictating the open plan main living area and master bedroom to be located to the rear of the property.

A simple freestanding contrasting rendered portico, defines the entry statement and the resulting house adopts its place in the streetscape, adjacent to its previously developed neighbouring twin residence.
