Our Build Time Guarantee offers customers peace of mind, knowing that the construction of their home will not exceed 130 working days (approximately 6 months) from the date of slab down to the practical completion.

To qualify:

Applies to single-storey granny flat designs using Steel Frame and Masterwall construction
Build area must be under 120m² and contract value under $500,000
No garages (carports only), and no owner-supplied or non-standard items
Site must be in Zone 1 metro region with less than 500mm site fall

What if the builder does not achieve practical completion of the home within 130 working days?

If the builder does not achieve practical completion of the home within 130 working days (approx. 6 months) from slab down (plus any applicable extensions claimed by the builder), the builder will pay the owner $300 per week (inclusive of GST) into their nominated bank account until practical completion is reached, up to a maximum of 10 weeks.

Is steel frame and Masterwall construction durable long-term?

Yes. Steel frames are highly durable and resistant to common structural issues like movement, shrinking, or water damage. When paired with Masterwall, your granny flat will have a robust exterior built to withstand the elements for decades.

What is Masterwall and how does it work with a steel frame?

Masterwall is a lightweight external cladding system made from insulated EPS panels. It attaches seamlessly to steel framing and is finished with a durable, rendered coating. Together, they create an energy-efficient, strong, and stylish structure.

Do I have enough room for a granny flat?
