Our Lumo display home has been recognised in the Display Home $400,000–$600,000 category, and our Kali display home in the $600,000–$800,000 category.

What the Master Builders WA Building Excellence Awards Represent

The Master Builders WA Building Excellence Awards is the preeminent recognition event in Western Australia’s building and construction industry.

The program celebrates outstanding projects across the full spectrum of the building sector; from single-home builds and renovations through to large-scale construction, honouring members who demonstrate a commitment to the highest professional standards.

A finalist nomination at the MBA Building Excellence Awards represents independent, peer-assessed recognition from within the industry. For families choosing a builder, it’s a meaningful signal of what genuine design quality and craft look like when assessed against WA’s best home builders.

The Lumo: 2025 Finalist, Display Home $400,000–$600,000

Our Lumo display home, open to visit at 8 Serpentine Road, Baldivis, was recognised in the $400,000–$600,000 category and we believe the judges found exactly what visitors find when they walk through the door. As David Hunt, Summit Homes’ Group Sales Manager, put it:

“Summit Homes is honoured to be named a finalist for the MBA Display Home $400–600k category. The Lumo’s design, with its 33-course ceilings and curved hallway wall, highlights a simple architectural elegance we are proud to deliver for clients.”

The 287m² display showcases what considered design can achieve at this price point: soaring living areas, a curved island bench in the kitchen, scullery with alfresco servery window, wine cellar, and a master suite with double shower and walk-in robe. Every element is intentional with functional living wrapped in genuine architectural character.

The Kali: 2025 Finalist, Display Home $600,000–$800,000

The Kali at 7 Featherflower Entrance, Piara Waters, earned its finalist nomination through a striking exterior and a layout that genuinely works for families. David Hunt described what makes it stand out:

“It is a privilege for Summit Homes to be recognised as a finalist in the MBA Display Home $600–800k category. The Kali Display, with its striking elevation and thoughtfully considered layout, embodies refined simplicity.”

At 308m² in its display configuration, the Kali includes a sunken theatre, freestanding bath, makeup recess, double walk-in robe in the master suite, a games room with dual access, and scullery. It demonstrates that a larger, feature-rich home doesn’t have to sacrifice cohesion: every space connects with purpose, and nothing feels forced.

Industry Recognised Across Two Price Points

Having both the Lumo and Kali recognised as finalists in adjacent categories is something we’re particularly proud of. It’s one thing to deliver strong design at one end of the market, and it’s another to do so consistently across different budgets, block sizes, and family priorities.
