Step by Step
From slab delivery, we aim to complete your Tiny Home within 16 weeks. This includes all major construction stages, from carpentry, electrical and plumbing works through to internal fit-out and final finishes, all completed in our controlled factory environment.
Once construction is complete, transportation and installation typically take 1–2 days. Depending on your site requirements, additional onsite works may take between 2–6 weeks to ensure your Tiny Home is fully prepared and tailored to your needs.
Building in a factory environment allows us to improve efficiency, maintain quality control and significantly reduce construction waste. Through every stage of the process, we are committed to delivering a high-quality, durable home while minimising our environmental impact.

Your home is built at our Canning Vale facility in a controlled environment:
This involves transporting the Tiny Home to your property and craning it into position.
Service connections may include power, water, sewer, stormwater and gas connections, depending on your site requirements
You may also choose to enhance your Tiny Home with additional features such as fencing, patios, alfresco areas, carports and landscaping. Summit Tiny Homes can manage these works from start to finish, providing a seamless end-to-end solution. These items are optional and will incur additional costs.
A final inspection ensures all works are complete, compliant, and ready for handover.

Download The Tiny Homes Spec SheetWhen constructing and delivering Tiny Homes, we prioritise minimising waste and environmental impact through several key practices.
To begin with, we actively recycle materials to reduce our ecological footprint. Currently, we recycle approximately 1.6 tonnes of steel every 3 weeks, along with cardboard and plasterboard. Any surplus materials are carefully stored and reused for future projects, ensuring minimal wastage throughout our construction process.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to the selection of building materials. Summit Tiny homes can feature components such as solar panels and Weathertex cladding (at additional cost), which enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Additionally, our structures are crafted using Backbone Steel Framing, owned by Summit Homes Group, a sustainable choice that supports durability and eco-friendly construction practices.
We use external shutters on the Tiny Homes for energy efficiency. We worked with our energy certifier when designing the Tiny Homes to ensure these are being designed with efficiency. Another product we use is Master Wall which is insulated panels that have a texture render applied. This adds to the R-value of the walls to improve energy efficiency. This also provides another option for an external finish for Modular construction.
