Geographe locals, Michael and Dianne, welcomed us recently into their beautiful Summit home. With an impressive 8 month build time and being their second time building, they shared advice and took us through their journey – from land purchase to design and build.
Chandan & Prathibha recently moved into their Summit South West home in the Stonebridge estate in Vasse. Having built with Summit South West in the past, they decided to build again on the condition that sales consultant Karen King and construction supervisor Andy Bennet would be on the job. This family home is cleverly zoned with a parents retreat down one end of the rural designed home and children’s/guest wing down the other end.
Please tell us about your home design and why you chose it.
We built a custom home, having a big block we needed a farmhouse design.
Tell us a bit about your new home
We moved in back in May and this is the second home we’ve built with Summit South West. Our sales rep, Karen King is an amazing person who will go through any length to help you. Andy Bennet our building supervisor is the reason we built with Summit.
What was the most important thing you wanted to achieve with your new home?
More space for our family, a big backyard a clever design and to incorporate an individual temple in our home.
How did you hear about Summit South West?
Having built with Summit in the past, there was no other builder in consideration. The ultimate deciding factor is always a human factor with Karen and Andy. We love the Summit community in the South West.
Which part of the building process was the most challenging?
To be fair, the pre-selection process was overwhelming, however our construction administration assistant Lisa and Karen guided us well.
