Initially thinking about renovating their old home, Lynne and Avelino ultimately decided to sell and build a brand new home after visiting the Australian display home.
“We went to visit some display homes for renovation inspiration and were blown away with the Summit Australian display, it was perfect,” Lynette said.
“We looked into Summit and after seeing how long the company has been around for, we felt confident that selling our old home and building a new one was the right thing to do.”
It had been 16 years since Lynette and Avelino built but the couple were not nervous, in fact they were excited at the idea of a brand new, modern home.
“We were impressed with the whole build journey, thanks to the people of Summit and the quality of the build,”
“Everyone was incredibly professional and willing to help – from our initial start in the display home with Michael Klaver, to our very professional site supervisor John Rees who always went above and beyond, to Simon our bricky who did an amazing job, everyone went out of their way to make us feel special.”
The result is a stunning home filled with natural light through the use of large windows, high ceilings and open plan living.
Outside, the modern red brick elevation provides effortless street presence, while inside the luxurious grey colour scheme is perfectly balanced with earthy tones and sleek design.
The kitchen is the true heart of the home and features a dark scalloped tile splashback and servery area.
This home was recognised for its outstanding design build quality in the 2018 Housing Industry Awards, where it won Best Contract Home in its price category.
