As Summit Homes Group is a vertically integrated company, we manufacture our frames for our brick veneer and fully framed homes, granny flats and second storey additions in our purpose-built, all-weather facility in Myaree, which has the capacity to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This controlled environment not only ensures the frames are built to exact specifications, but helps reduce your carbon footprint, as well as the chance of delays due to trade shortages.

This building method is a combination of brickwork, steel frames made from TRUECORE^® steel and GTEK™ plasterboard, creating energy efficiencies during the build as well as when you’re living in your new home.

BrickHybrid homes provide better insulation, keeping you warmer in the winter and cool in WA’s sweltering summers. Another plus is BrickHybrid homes offer the best results in regards to soundproofing your ears from noise pollution.

This method is the most traditional building method in WA. Double brick (or brick cavity) homes offer fairly decent acoustic properties, meaning you’ll enjoy a reduction in noise pollution (sounds, singing, blender, beats etc.)

However, brick’s thermal qualities aren’t as quite good as our BrickHybrid or Steel Framed methods. Due to innovation in steel construction, the industry is slowly saying goodbye to double brick.
