Faced with the dilemma of needing a bigger home but not wanting to sell and move from their beloved neighbourhood, David and Katherine approached Summit about increasing their abode’s living space.

The couple, who originally built the Atwell home, had outgrown it and were short on the space needed for three children and two adults.

They were reluctant to move away from the area as a new train station was being constructed, which was going to be a big benefit for Katherine’s commute to work.

The pair said their experience extending their home was very good and appreciated the numerous options presented to them which fitted their budget.

“The onsite build only took six weeks. Our project manager called the first night of the build to check everything was sealed as a storm was forecast,” David said.

“Before the renovation, we had a three bedroom, two bathroom home and were using the home theatre as a fourth bedroom.

“Now, all the kids have their own bedroom, we have a spare bedroom for visiting grandparents and an additional living room for all the kids and we have the theatre room back in it’s original use.”

The whole family loves their newly renovated home and are relishing all the space they now have.
